This year’s season opener was a little quieter than some of our other events with [only] about 35 cars arriving for the social gathering, but it was also a great opportunity for us all to be able to mingle with everyone who attended. Even so, there was no shortage of classics and golden era BMWs. We saw some familiar faces and we met some new folks. It was a pleasant afternoon with the weather mostly cooperating with intermittent sun and clouds. Some of us still managed to get a mild sunburn.
After most attendees trickled away, a handful of us took a nice scenic twisty drive to Bear Mountain and Storm King, followed by some snacks at Two Alice’s Coffee Lounge before heading home.
